Landscape and food have long been identifying traits of both Calaceit and the Matarranya. Grapes, almonds, lamb, pork and even fish from the nearby Mediterranean coast. But in particular olive oil, that for centuries has been the livelihood of the people from this corner of the world.
The restaurant Pas d’en Bellosta aims to pay tribute to these people and this land by serving traditional cuisine with the chef’s own signature touches. Honest food based on quality local produce. Aragonese dishes with Mediterranean roots, not unlike the Matarranya county itself.
Relax while you enjoy our food and take in the spectacular views of Los Ports de Beseit on the horizon from a large window. The atmosphere in the dining room (that can seat up to 35 diners) is welcoming and comfortable. The room features recovered stone walls, exposed wooden beams and pieces of artwork inspired by the olive tree.
Enjoy excellent dishes such as small quails legs in mature, sweet wine; Aragonese lamb cutlets; Iberian surprise with port reduction and mushrooms; calamari stew and our homemade desserts.
Our wine cellar is stocked with local vintages (wines from Lower Aragón), all of them defined by a unique personality. Our cellar also centres on local Designation of Origin (DO) wines such as the full bodied wines from Terra Alta, the rich Montsant wines and the refined Somontano wines, amongst others. Free your mind and enjoy these unique and exquisite wines.
The hotel serves a beautifully presented full, self-service breakfast.
